5:30 - We shared dinner with 6 neighbors including a 2 new ones! Welcome to the Rodriguez’s

6:00 James Eddy shared about town hall meetings to discuss the budget,  coming up and gave the dates: 

• September 4: First Coast High School, 590 Duval Station Rd., Jacksonville, FL, 32218

• September 22: Northside Church of Christ, 4736 Avenue B., Jacksonville, FL, 32209

6:10   Community Garden Committee
1. The garden deck passed second inspection and need your help for the next three Saturdays!  
2. A study on moths will be done in our garden by graduate students from UF. 
3. The mural progress for the shed by Hearst 4 Minds is on its way. If you know of an muralist, please have them apply to paint it at: https://www.hearts4minds.org/call-to-artists

6:15  Old Business
Neighbor of the Month Award goes to Roxie McLeod for her faithful service to the neighborhood association for 9 years and to the community garden for the past three years.  
Vote on next month’s neighbor of the month – Nominees: Jan Hendrix and Lindsey Joyner and Arian (10 Years old)   Jan won! 

6:30 New Business
Items from the CPAC meeting about our school district making an “A”.
Questions about what to do with prostitutes, and drug users in vacant houses and on street near our homes.  Answer: keep calling police and turning in tickets to code compliance.
