PP Neighborhood Meeting Minutes

Thursday, August 22, 2019   5:30 - 6:45 PM

Meeting was called to order at: 5:45pm by Roxie Mcleod

Welcome and new introductions - We ate Joseph’s Pizza!

July 25, 2019 meeting minutes were approved with two changes/additions:

1) A Motion was made by JW to be the Parliamentarian of the Panama Park Neighborhood Association. JW was approved as Parliamentarian (Meeting Mover) of the Panama Park Neighborhood Association.

2) A Motion was made by Roxie Mcleod for Katie Hunter to be the Secretary of the Panama Park Neighborhood Association along with Shavali Lansford as Assistant Secretary. Katie Hunter and Shavali Lansford approved their roles as Secretaries.

We heard a report on the Park Clean Up held last Saturday – Our next one will be Saturday, October 26, 2019.

Movie Night will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019. The movie in the park will be sponsored entirely by the Parks Department.  Several volunteered to help hand out flyers once we get the design from the Park’s Dept.  Hold a Discussion with  Men Extraordinaire for Trunk or Treat in Panama Park.

We came to an agreement on the purpose for our Fish Fry Fundraiser along with a possibly a neighborhood garage sale, complete with the forming of a committee headed up by Cynthia Scott and Katie Hunter.

Meeting was closed in prayer by Roxie McLeod at 6:45 PM

• October 24, 2019 - Next Month’s PPNA Meeting same time and local, Potluck   

• October 25, 2019 - Movie Night will be held in Panama Park

• October 26, 2019 - Park clean up – meet at Panama Park
