5:30 - We ate Eggplant Parmesan made entirely form our community garden. 

5:45 - Opened Meeting with Introductions and (Riddles to Solve)  

5:48 - We Read Mission and Vision Statement

6:00   We celebrated the Neighbor of the Month - James Eddie for his tireless and generous efforts to improve our park, neighborhood, and city.

and Nominated our next Neighbor of the Month for July. (Bill Coughenour)

6:10 - Community Garden Committee
Report on the Bees and Pollinators Work-shop.  Bill reported.  
Good News!!! Permit was Approved!
Good News!!! Pavers were donated (do you know a paver who will put this in for us?)
Short by 2,000 now with the changes that the city made on it.
Workday ,  June 28th, and July 12th with a workshop on solarizing beds.

4th annual summer safety event at Mallison park 3151 Lenox Ave. 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. this Saturday, free community event.

6:30 - Guest: James Braker
Representing Northwest - We the People.  This organization wants to gather neighborhood associations like ours in North West Jacksonville to work together to improve the northwest.  The Neighborhood Summit is scheduled for September 5-6. Roxie will stay in contact with him.
