PP Neighborhood Meeting Minutes
Thursday, June 27, 2019 5:30 - 6:45 PM
Charlie Joseph Senior Citizen Center
Welcome and introductions we had two new neighbors and a guest speaker – Diane Weaver – director of the Charlie Joseph Senior Cit. Center.
April meeting minutes approved – Motion by Tom, Seconded by Mary and all were in favor.
This included a discussion of the PPCT and things to help next year’s scheduled for May 16, 2020.

Trash – Our next Clean up will be on Aug. 17th at 8:00 AM at our park. Please put this on our calendar and JW will get the supplies from the city.
JW testified that if you call the city, they are getting better at responding quickly.
Tom reminded us that you can take a picture of the blight and it is recorded at the city.

Special Guest was Diane Weaver - director of the Charlie Joseph Senior Cit. Center. She shared how the center is open 8-5 each weekday and any Senior 60 and over is welcome. There are activities, field trips, and free food. She encouraged us to tell our elderly neighbors about it and that there is even free transportation. (904) 768-4762

Two neighbors saw the signs and came to our chips and dip meeting for the first time.

Original notes by our young neighbor and new assistant to our secretary.
1. Introducted everybody and there was 6 people. Shavali, Mary, JW, Terry, Angela, Darrel and Terry.
2. We checked the meeting agenda from last month and agreed that Shavali did not leave anything out and that it was good.
3. We talked about Nextdoor app and about the latest updates like Mary's pot bellied pig, and Adin's birthday.
4. Introduced Charlie Joseph Citezens Center Dianne Weaver, and she talked about the things that she does for the citezens over 60.
5. Talked about the trash problem, the sidewalks, and the citizens center, and closed with prayer.
