PP Neighborhood Meeting Minutes

Charlie Joseph Senior Citizen Center
5:30 - Ground Breaking Ceremony. - We also did a ribbon cutting, but that will be done officially next month once the deck is finished!
5:45 - Sign in and EAT Donations added up to $8 for clerical costs and deck. DaDay gave $3.00.
6:00 - Open Meeting and Introductions and Read Mission and Vision Statement
6:10 - Minutes from the last meeting (Moved: Agnes Seconded: __Bill Accepted: Yes__ )
6:20 - Community Garden Committee
Workday Sat. 28th (Deck the Deck) - Left-over poinsettias
Next Workshop is January 25th - Herbs
we need Garden Reps at the workshops Jerii volunteered for this job, we can use more.
-to welcome them all to the garden
-help with bathroom info and seating needs
-help the Master Gardeners with paper and supplies
-to report back to the neighborhood association on the workshop
6:30 – New Business:

White Elephant Exchange/Song Trivia game
6:45 – Old Business:

Sidewalk is blocked by cars at the transmission place on Main Street. We will call Code enforcement.

Emissions from the Gypsom plant? Call Environmental Services.

Update on letter sent to Councilwoman Pittman + 5 other Councilpersons.
Side walks - 50th street sent to Public Works - Roxie will call them for update.
Buffalo Sewer Work - on going

Need a volunteer to connect with local High Schools - Community Hours opportunity to their students.

Highlights:
First we had a
Ground breaking
ceremony at the garden
for the garden deck!
Then we celebrated with a White Elephant Gift exchange and everyone went home with a new treasure!
