Neighborhood Meeting Minutes

Thanks to our Shavali for the Spaghetti!

 

• After eating, we introduced ourselves and welcomed two new neighbors (welcome Rick and Dianne)  

• Tom McLeod reported on the Jacksonville Prayer Breakfast where author Jay Pathak, of the book “The Art of Neighboring” was the speaker.

• Ideas for neighborhood improvement were shared:

  • Streets Clean up Day(s)

 

• Community Garden – need to look for a lot of land the city will let us use and need to have many interested first

 

• Yard sale – need a location, but where participants could keep a % and give a small % to the neighborhood association for things like: 

 

• T-Shirts with our name on it for next years come together

 

• Emergency fund for families in need in our neighborhood; i.e. house fire victims and other type of loss

• Food and Drinks for our meetings

 

• Please contact Roxie McLeod 515-7944 if you are interested in heading up a committee or volunteering for out next Panama Park Come Together.
